Auditing/Reserve Reviews
ASK undertakes technical reviews of most types of non-marine insurance and reinsurance classes. Be it claims or underwriting, audits can be conducted on a strict compliance basis in respect of claims handling and risk acceptance or on a quality basis, whereupon the overall "look and feel" of the company is considered alongside the technical capabilities. This style of auditing is particularly appropriate where the audit is to meet formalised visit obligations. Whichever, we feel that it is our auditors' duty to recognise that probably have a good working relationship in place and that our visit should compliment it.

Over-Flow Support
Every operation will have periods of surge. ASK is able to offer a temporary solution for the provision of extra resources to supplement your own workforce.

Claims Management
Outsourcing arrangements are complex undertakings as there needs to be utter trust between the client and TPA. It is paramnount that there is a genuine belief that the TPA will perform to the required standard. Therefore any relationship must be founded upon a clear understanding between both parties. Failing to do this will inevitably result in actual or perceived service issues, which, if not dealt with will often escalate to become adversly material. ASK has significant experience in TPA arrangements and can work alongised the outsourcing client and/or the TPA to ensure the relationships are founded upon the right basis and that levels of service are then matching each other's expectations.

Tender Preparations
How much time do we now spend preparing plans, documents, presentations, requests for information, formal tenders, etc etc etc? With the sheer amount of information that has to be supplied, often those preparing them suffer from "tender fatigue", where they become word-blind to the content and resonance that the document has. ASK can work alongside you and bring that fresh pair of eyes that will help you make sure they are completed in an organised way, have the content that you actually want are delivered without panic on time and ultimately are in a shape that best represents your offering.

Supplier Relations
The need for a strong brand image and sustainable reputation will be much enhanced by the use of good suppliers. In the insurance markets it is suppliers that meet face to face with customers. As such they deliver the providers brand, image and reputation. A failure to properly match suppliers to the providers needs and the expectations of customers will lead to uneccessary complaints and lost customers. ASK can work with suppliers and providers alike to make sure these relationships are fully understood and more importantly deliver genuine value-led service operations

Internal procedures/Operational Re-Engineering
If you have worked hard to get the right outward image and range of services or products for your company it will all come to nothing if your internal procedures cannot deliver on the promises you have sold. Companies need to have procedures in place that do not just meet the demands of today's customers but can meet all the challenges that will face it as it evolves and grows. This has to be an entirely proactive process and must never be left until the company is in crisis. ASK can help you by taking an objective view of your operations and procedures making sure they are scalable to meet the needs of today and tomorrow

Project Management
Many major projects; be they operational or strategic, flounder through a lack of cohesive management. A lot of companies work at a level wherein it is often impossible to enable its own staff the time to put aside from their daily duites to work exclusively upon major initiatives. This often causes delay, increased cost and often lead to the initiative not achieving all its goals, ultimately leading to it becoming a negative experience. This can then result in a lack of buy-in to the project. ASK can work with you to bring the threads together and get the project delivered, in reduced timeframes, with more certain delivery and quicker implementation.

Procedure Documents
We all work in increasingly controlled environments, be it internal compliance to external governence. Much of this regualtion demands that companies have their operations conclusively documented. This is a major undertaking for any company. ASK will work with you to create documentation in a form that is practical and effectively understood by all.

Quality Matters
A by-product of regulation is a realisation that documenting procedures is not enough to guarantee compliance. The largest single investment every company makes is in its workforce. Ensuring they are able to meet the demands of your business should be a positive and inclusive experience. Implementing either a formal quality programme or just bringing some quality management habits to your business will make a huge difference to your staff and their desire to work with you. Learning and Development
Many companies, having made a significant investment in their staff, fail to get the best out of them by a simple lack of formalised training or personal development. ASK, working alongside specialist training companes can help arrange structured learning programmes at all levels from technical courses, through soft skills to mentoring and coaching.

Due Diligence
With the amount of M&A activity that prevails around our industry, the requirement for operationally based due diligence reviews continues to increase. ASK has worked with a number of organisations conducting formal operational reviews.
